We completed this project in two phases. The first was the tear out to prep the landscape beds for edging, planting, and mulching.
Then, we laid topsoil as needed on the new beds and began planting. This job had over 100 plants installed, per design. There were three varieties of Hostas, one Lilac, six Daylilies, 18 Creeping Phlox, some Sedum, Coral Bells, Coneflowers, Butterfly Weed, a Butterfly Bush, four Boxwood, one Crape Myrtle, and one Hydrangea to name a few.
Premium, black-dyed mulch was laid which created a beautiful backdrop for the plants. We also installed a small stone wall and river gravel at the drain that daylights below the lamp post to hide a pipe and prevent mulch erosion. We also added topsoil and seeded where necessary.
We love how this project turned out and hope the homeowners are enjoying their updated landscape.
