Lawn, Walkway, and Steps Renovation

We recently renovated this front lawn, walkway, and steps.

For a quick breakdown of this project; we began by removing the existing flagstone from the walk, front landing, and steps. We set the flagstone aside for reuse during the installation phase.

Next, we excavated for the new walkway, landing, and steps. We installed the base and treads. We installed bricks to border the flagstone landing and walkway. This added some contrast of color to the flagstone and some uniformity.

The last part of this project was the lawn renovation which included the installation of topsoil and compost to level the lawn prior to the fertilizer and premium seed being planted. As always, we used tack straw to help prevent erosion and speed up the germination process.

We enjoy seeing before and after photos and hope that helps you get a better understanding of the project. A little reworking and expanding of the existing materials can make a big difference and we hope the homeowners are continue to love their upgrades.
