Retaining Wall & Rain Garden

This project was completed in two parts, in two days. We started by installing a retaining wall at the bottom of a hill of the property, behind the pool fencing. Crews began excavating for the wall and installing the base. We used EP Henry Diamond Pro wall block. During the construction of the wall, we also a pipe was installed to connect to the downspout past the fence of the pool.

Next, we installed the rain garden by excavating the 7′ x 7′ area for the garden. We laid the soil mixture and planted a variety of beautiful plants such as Sweet Bay Magnolia, Black Eye Susan, Nepeta “Junior Walker”, a variety of Coneflowers, and a few other plants that will thrive in a rain garden setting. Then, premium mulch was laid to complete the project.
